In which a group of graying eternal amateurs discuss their passions, interests and obsessions, among them: movies, art, politics, evolutionary biology, taxes, writing, computers, these kids these days, and lousy educations.

Conservatism: Yacht Club to the Rescue!

Donald Pittenger writes:

Dear Blowhards --

Thanks to the persistence of Dave Burge who, patriotically, temporarily set aside his mission of locating the hottest set of Hemi overhead cams in the Midwest, we now have a valuable inside look as to what ails the conservative movement and the cure.

The source of this information is über-patrician T. Coddington Van Voorhees VII, Editor, the National Topsider whose commentary can be found here.

Later,

Donald

Does he say they're an irrelevant bunch of half-dead, fully-dimwitted fucktards who completely misunderstand economics on a macro and micro scale? Does he say they're a bunch of evil old men hell bent on bringing back slavery, inch by inch, until the whole world works to support their lavish lifestyles? Does he say the cure is poisoning the world's Viagara supply so they next time they go to their captive little boy lovers, they'll get an erection they won't have time to call their doctor about?

If not, everything he says is wrong.

If you actually read the piece, you might be surprised that...

Oh never mind. Who am I kidding.
