That's because occasional commenter David Apatoff (who has a very nice blog dealing with illustration) has done so already.

Here is the link to the relevant post from early this year. Preview: an "artist" who artfully decided to totally opt out of art for a year, presumably out of disappointment or spite over a performance project that failed to gel.
