In which a group of graying eternal amateurs discuss their passions, interests and obsessions, among them: movies, art, politics, evolutionary biology, taxes, writing, computers, these kids these days, and lousy educations.

Michael Blowhard writes:

Dear Blowhards --

A few finds from the ever-spirited and flukily-talented Communicatrix:

* A yummy bustier made entirely of pine nuts.

* Danny Miller pens an ode to the 1950s-era "Mike Wallace Interview" show. "I’m here to say that Wallace’s show was far more incisive, authentic, and hard-hitting than anything on the air today," Danny writes.

* A good question -- and some excellent suggestions.

Best,

Michael

"Flukily talented?!" That's HAWESOME!

I'm already plotting where I can drop that bomb in my bio.

Or maybe a book jacket blurb--maybe that's where it belongs...

That is a good question and the answer isn't even listed. It's Neil Patrick Harris' stunning performance in the groundbreaking classic "Harold & Kumar Go To White Castle."
