As I mention Collatoral in the orginal post (I run past that golf driving range almost every day) I should add that the other dramatic production that gets my neigborhood close to right is the TV series The Shield. Which may be even scarier. The climatic episode in I think the second season was set partly in a flower shop on Western that's right next door to my favorite Korean beef soup place. The point, though, is that walking around on a daily basis we don't see any of this stuff. Tombstone was probably a prety nice place to live, too, if you weren't an Earp or a Clanton.
