There's even a yoga posture called in English, 'Wind relieving pose'. It consists of lying on your back and with your arms drawing your knees up and back into your shoulders or armpits (which spreads your wind-hole wide open). Wind relief? Oh yeah! I can speak from gas-emitting experience that the pose works well indeed.
