In which a group of graying eternal amateurs discuss their passions, interests and obsessions, among them: movies, art, politics, evolutionary biology, taxes, writing, computers, these kids these days, and lousy educations.

Where's My iPod Shuffle?

Michael Blowhard writes:

Dear Blowhards --

Did I leave it at the gym? In the office? Are there jacket pockets I haven't been through yet? And why on earth didn't I put it on the ledge where I usually keep it? ...

Miniaturization is such a great thing, isn't it? At least until you misplace the teeny-tiny object.

Best,

Michael

Or until somebody steals it!

(I was robbed earlier this year of 2 mp3 players).

You have my sympathy, but look on the bright side; mp3 players are getting cheaper every day; pretty soon, the only bad thing will be trying to remember what songs you had on it when it disappeared?
