You know, you'd think that as a doddering old fool (pushing 50) I'd lose my interest in this sort of thing, but I can't say as it seems to work that way. Perhaps it's genetic: I understand the primitive parts of the brain (the ones that are always scanning the environment for danger, food, sex, etc.) have no conception of time.
